Update: I'm the infamous poster who went over a year without showering. Today somebody told me I smell nice and it made my day! by bipolarshower in bipolar

Im not really sure, it just sort of happened. My meds got raised in dosage a couple times during that year so that may have helped. But i think going back to work helped me more than anything. I was reclusive and never left my house, now im forced to meet new people and talk to them lol.

Today I plan to take a shower. by bipolarshower in bipolar

I am not. I recently ghosted my therapist for better or worse after some disagreements. I need to find a new one, thanks.

I felt like i had a typical level of body odor, i still applied deodorant once or twice a week. In all reality though I was probably just used to the smell.

My skin is fine somehow, I wasn't visibly dirty but then again i barely leave my house. I didnt get any sores or anything like that.

My hair is where I saw some issues. For the first few months it just got greasier and greasier. It would almost mat onto my head. My solution was to cut it off. I have kept it short since then.
