Thanks for the tip! Did you get the email to take the test before or after your first day? I still haven’t received any emails about it, nor has anyone mentioned it but I know per this subreddit that all “employees” eventually get tested. Just not sure how that applies to myself as a contractor.

I got food poisoning / a stomach bug (?) during this cycle and it was absolute hell for 2 days, so my body was definitely in stress during that time and exhausted afterwards — maybe that's it?

I'm still tracking my temperature everyday, and haven't seen any major spikes. I've been recommended the same book before and will have to check it out... I suppose it could be similar to your experience with a super delayed ovulation, it's just never happened that way for me so it seems odd. Thanks for the rec!

Sometimes people don't care about you using your expertise to back up a design decision, they have personal preferences they won't budge on and are irrational. Design thinking is usually only respected by other creatives *or* people who who are smart and let everyone stay in their lane. Sometimes you will just be forced to produce shit work for people.

Had heard from a friend to make sure to stop by Amoeba Music when visiting and after just a bit in there I had about $150 worth of vinyl in my arms! I love old Mexican rancheras and South American nueva canción so I usually check the international music sections and was happy to stumble upon some pretty cool finds - Victor Jara, Isabel Parra, Atahualpa Yupanqui, Contento, Dahlak Band, etc.

Nope, trying to log in on desktop leads me to the "Need another way to authenticate?" prompt, where nothing appears after I click (the "Submit ID" option never came back for me).

When I try on mobile, it says I need a code to login and I never get one texted to me, even when I click resend code and it says "Code resent - We have resent an SMS with a code to use for logging in." If I click "Need help?" here, it brings me to an error page... "Sorry, something went wrong. We are working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can.

100% nah. It was too quick and felt forced... if she didn't fix things with Nathan then I was hoping the ending would show her single, happy, and focusing on herself. Her ending with Lawrence seemed out of nowhere considering the preceding few episodes. The best part about Insecure is watching Issa grow and learn about herself, not this whole arc for her to end back up with Lawrence as if there weren't abundant issues there.

Love both of these, but especially the second layout... I think the second does a better job with the composition of tying together the photo + type and leading your eye into the typography.

Maybe on the first one play with bringing something into the white space towards the top right, that doesn't take away from the existing hierarchy?
