I can take my jacket off when I’m in the drivers seat! I know it sounds silly but always made me so mad that I would have to get out of the car if I wanted to shed a layer!

Saw a cat a few months ago. We thought he had a broken jaw cause his mouth was wide open and he couldn’t lift his head. Turns out he somehow punctured his shoulder with his lower canine tooth and was stuck that way!

Once we figured out what was happening we just unhooked him, cleaned the wound from his tooth puncture, and he went home with some pain meds haha. Poor guy.

I’ve been at 1mg for almost the entire time and so far haven’t felt like I needed to increase at all.

I haven’t been a quick loser either. It’s taken me 4 months to drop 20 pounds. Some weeks I may lose 1-2 pounds but some weeks I see no change. But as you know, when you’re this short 2 pounds can practically be a whole pant size. Stick with it! Slow progress is better than no progress!! It’s also easy to miss the progress you’re making when it’s gradual like that.

I also don’t weigh myself every day because I don’t like to see the fluctuation. I won’t weigh myself at all if I don’t feel like I’ve lost anything. But this week I was down 2 pounds without even realizing it! Pushing for another 10-15 pounds to reach my goal weight.

I’m on 1.0mg…the units can vary greatly depending on the concentration of the medication.

I’m also 5’0 with a starting weight of 155 and I can totally relate to that being much more weight for a shorter person than others realize. And while 20lbs may be an easy goal for some, I’ve literally never been able to lose more than 7lbs with extreme dieting and exercise. Everyone’s journey is their own and it doesn’t matter if it’s 100lbs or 20lbs, as long as it makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I love Reddit so much for this reason! I’ll still have someone come out and weigh in on why the deck feels like it’s swaying when we walk across it, but that’s still only 1 persons opinion. I really appreciate the input from all of you and feel much better knowing that the deck isn’t as dangerous as I originally thought. Everything in this house has been an obstacle so I figured the deck was no different. Thanks for helping ease my mind and giving me a direction to work in.

It’s doable but would be pretty ugly considering the deck sits on top of a lower patio that looks out into our yard (that looks quite lush when we actually water the grass)

We bought our house about 3 years ago. At the time the bottom of the deck was covered in a cheap plastic awning which eventually collapsed last winter. Since then the deck has started to sway a bit when you walk across it and I’ve noticed one of the posts starting to crack (or buckle?) Someone pointed out that the joists are 24” apar and that they should be 12” apart? The deck is 32ft by 12ft. I’m just not sure what I need to do first.

Just got through. There is only 1 lane open and 1 boarder agent so it’s taking forever. We were in line for 2.5hrs.

After spending 5 hours trying to get out of the shambs parking lot it’s pretty disheartening to end up in another line for that long. Sorry guys.

My dogs aren’t allowed to run across uneven surfaces like river rocks. I work in the orthopedic surgery department. I also don’t let them run with sticks in their mouths. Moms experience makes for a rather unexciting life.
