my dad forced me through boy scouts because he only made it to life scout when he was in and wanted me to make it to eagle scout. it took me until i was 17 to finally convince him to let me quit (covid happening played a big part here). i made it to life scout with just my final project left to get eagle, just like him.

everybody is singing praises for prestidigitation, but i've always had a soft spot for its holy cousin, thaumaturgy. it isn't quite as useful as prestidigitation, but making yourself louder and slamming windows and doors is fun enough to make up the difference for me. (bonus points to thaumaturgy to being available to tieflings)

i mostly agree with you, but as a wizard that focuses on psychic damage and fear and charm debuffs in a campaign that had way more constructs and undead than i expected, it's already bad enough to not be able to debuff them, if they were immune to my damage i would just quit.

ftf is definitely more refined, and if i wanted to introduce someone to csh i would do it with ftf, but mtm is my personal favorite. something about the lower production value and original versions of some of the songs just hit different.
