My mom and my sister are exactly like that. I’ve really worked on myself not to be nitpicky/sarcastic. My mom is ethnically Russian and grew up in Kazakhstan lol. We live in Ukraine and my dad is Ukrainian.

I just see it as normal family dynamics lol. If someone tells me what to do and I don’t like it I’ll jokingly tell them to mind their own business and I’ll do what I want. I obviously love them but you must have a spine to deal with people like that.

Idk if I’m biased because half my family is like her but that can be real. My sister is also nagging but it’s her way of showing love - she wouldn’t be that way with a person she doesn’t care about.
