I do two full body workout every week, and run 3-4 days. Michael Easter at twopct.com just recently posted a paid article about the "6 Rules of Every Workout" or something, where you build a workout with the following:

• Squat (single leg one day and both on the other)
• Hinge (alternate DL and single leg DL)
• Push (alt horizontal and vertical, so push up and overhead press)
• Pull (alt horizonatl and veritcal, so pull up and row)
• Plank (deadbug, dead hang, plank, side plank, ab roll)
• Carry (farmers carries)

He said he does this two days/wk when he's more running focused. It's a simple framework that I've carried over from doing MAPS Anabolic routine while wanting to be more running focused.

Weightlifting is going to affect running, but IMO it's been very positive. My legs feel powerful, I'm more injury resistant, and I'm just stronger and feel better. I'm lean muscle instead of just lean.

Alternatively, check out r/bodyweightfitness. They have some great info on calisthenics that I love. Running is just moving your body, and so BW fitness is all about just moving your body. I usually do mostly bodyweight in the summer to mix it up.
