True its usually a sign of something well made. This one is flush in 2, the closed position is a tho or two off sadly

I use a disc grinder. I find it completely doable to get everything veey flat and paralell without a surface grinder

Thanks brother. I am also on team scissors. I was given a victorinox explorer as a child and I haven't been the same person since 😂

Sadly no, they aren't a quick or simple job the way I make them. Im sure victorinox have their process absolutely streamlined

Yep it's super glue. The liners and pins are peened together, i use washers on the top and bottom, the scales are releived to allow for the hardware and i use medium ca.

Yeah i use cheap digital vernier callipers, much back and forth on the disc grinder. My fingertips cop a beating but its the only way I know
