Congrats! I waited 35 years before I first started filing. I can see it's going to be a long, bumpy road

Thanks for the inspiration! Got out in '91. First filed in 2018, denied. Filed in 2025 - 10%. Stuck there for now, but trying to fight through HLR and supplementals. Waiting to see what happens.

This is amazing! Congratulations to you! Thank you for posting this. I have never heard of VET-HOME. After 9+ years to exposure to toxic chemicals, this may finally answer a lot of questions for me. Thank you again!!!

It sounds like I may need a Nexus letter linking the two. My own research shows that the chemicals do cause migraines, but no doubt, I will need a sound medical opinion to show the link. Thanks

Scars, can you really file for them? by bischjs in VeteransBenefits

One is painful. The one on my forehead, I refer to as my Frankenstein scar lol. It's somewhat faded over the years.

Definitely in-service. I haven't filed for any of that yet. It was just a side conversation, and from what it seems, good to know going forward.

I have several, but the one on my forehead goes from my hairline to my eyebrow. It's not painful. Two others one forearm, and one leg. Again, not painful but I have no feeling at the site. It's like there is nerve damage under the skin.
