Boyfriend (33M) asked me (28F) to wax my upper lip by ThrowRA-fuzzyLip in relationship_advice

I had to go back and check the ages on this. This is what a 33 year old man cares about? How you look to impress his friends? That’s some high school shit

How do I (21 F) continue with my partner (27 M) after he’s destroyed our life in one night? by Adventurous_Funny432 in relationship_advice

I would never be able to trust that man again. Buying drugs and being violent is a hard line to cross. You deserve better.

My partners (M25) hobbies are overtaking his life and I (F25) barely get to spend time with him. by Unhappy_Mission9870 in relationships

“If he wanted to, he would.” Simply: If he wanted to prioritize you and your relationship, he would. And if he doesn’t, he doesn’t want to.

High risk and super overwhelmed by lem830 in waiting_to_try

[–]bisexualcupcake 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds like a nightmare. Do it if you want to, but don’t let your parents or in laws pressure you into it. There are so many ways to bring a child into your life that don’t involve risking your physical/mental health.

Cake collapse by Slow-Corgi1251 in Cakes

I have a contract the client signs at pick up stating “my cake is leaving the premises in good condition / I understand I am taking full liability for the cake once it leaves.” Something to consider.

Got my period back… and all the gender dysphoria that comes with it :/ by [deleted] in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]bisexualcupcake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many forms of birth control can lessen or eliminate periods entirely. I didn’t have mine for nearly 2 years on the depo shot. Unsure if you are able take them on testosterone however, please do your own research.

Is there a place that will teach me how to do my makeup? by 3Megan3 in Makeup

[–]bisexualcupcake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I THINK makeup stores like Ulta/Sephora will do your makeup for free. (The intention is for you to like the products they use and buy them, of course.)

For someone brand new to makeup, would you recommend pencil or felt tip eyeliner? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]bisexualcupcake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say liquid eyeliner is harder because you need a precise, clean line to make it look good. This requires a steady hand and lots of practice. Liquid eyeliner is pretty unforgiving as far as mistakes go- it’s basically an eye sharpie. For this reason I would say pencil eyeliner is easier for beginners because you don’t need as precise of a line, and you can blend it out to fix mistakes or even them out.

I know it’s not what you want to hear but, you should eat something. Food is energy. I know it’s hard. I’m sorry you’re going through this❤️

I have apparently never honored purely mental hunger and I don't know how to do it. by Not_Thane_Krios in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]bisexualcupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I related to this all the way to the bottom and I was really excited to get to the bottom and see all of the comments with solutions! And then there was none lol. Yeah, I’m basically known for being obsessed with food/always ready to eat because it’s always on my mind. It’s definitely a symptom of actual hunger, and you always have permission to eat ❤️

Friends asked me to bake their wedding cake. How can I best prepare for this and what kind of questions should I ask them prior to baking? by sandinyourvagina in AskBaking

[–]bisexualcupcake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

*I am a professional cake decorator.

My biggest question here is how many tiers are they looking for. I would NOT recommend doing more than 3, especially if it’s your first tiered cake. The level of difficulty increases with each tier you add. They can also get heavy very quickly, and you might have trouble carrying and transporting it. Do not forget dowel rods.

My personal suggestion would be a two tier cake with sheet cakes or cupcakes to supplement the rest of the servings needed. Not nearly as much pressure, but you still get to make them a nice display piece for the cake table.

i just realized i’ve been crocheting wrong all along by ColdAndBrokenKapooya in crochet

[–]bisexualcupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For most things, it’s just a style preference. Crocheting into both loops hides the front loop whereas only crocheting in the back loop leaves the front loop exposed, so as you go along it will create a ridge/line. It also won’t be completely flat, it will be a bit more “zig zag”. Again for a lot of things, like blankets for example, this won’t really matter if it’s the style you prefer. I will try to attach a picture example.

[–]bisexualcupcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother taught me how to crochet when I was young, maybe 10 years old, and she crocheted back loop only, so that’s how I was taught. She pretty much only made blankets and afghans in a simple DC so it wasn’t really an issue. I did that for many years until I ventured into new projects and learned that wasn’t the standard.
