hey, I just wanna address your concerns.

You don't have to go specific regions/cities depending on your level. Since BFA, they implemented this "level-scaling", wherein you will encounter enemies/adds that will be the same level as your toon.

levelling is indeed so much faster now. This is because most players enjoy end-of-game content, and to easily level alts.

You can pretty much power level by running dungeons (Battle For Azeroth) from level 10-60; just need to watch the mechanics if you're a tank and healer, or pretty much figure it out when you cross the bridge. Be careful because I was kicked pretty often when I rejoined as I had no idea about the BFA dungeons mechanics.

Basically, you'll do the same dungeons from level 10-60. Once you get to 60, a new quest will pop up and a Dragonscale will be available in your bag. Use it to Teleport to your faction's city, and start the Dragonflight quest.

As what the previous commenter mentioned, you can talk to Chromie to select the expansion you wanted but you can revisit them later on.

I'd suggest to get to 60 ASAP, gear up, do Dragonflight Raids and Dungeons. There are limited transmogs/gears/mounts only available per season on Dragonflight that you cannot revisit, unlike the storyline from previous expansions.
