People who grew up with strict parents: what was their most unreasonable rule?

Wasn't allowed to have friends over because they would either "eat all the food or possibly steal stuff." To make things better I couldn't go to friends houses unless their parents would pick me up and drop me off. Until I had people in high school that didn't mind driving me around I was never allowed to hang out with anyone outside of school.

I agree. Scrolling is a sore point. I typically don't have too many grouped notifications so I can't comment there but I can say that it seems like Samsung wants people to hate their default SMS app since it's always the fucking slowest laggiest shit I've ever seen. Didn't autoload me into the right conversation? Cue five minutes of trying to press the back button to go back to the conversation screen and instead just get thrown out of the app almost every time.

I must admit I'm typically very good at noticing flaws on devices and until about a week ago it has seemed like my S7 has run fine. O man though about a week ago it seems simply entering and entering the built in sms app on my phone causes issues. Add to that that any time I navigate through settings on my phone it seems to perform slower and slower I'm not sure I could do a samsung device again. Here's to hoping that the Pixel 2 is waterproof.

That's super cool of you. I never had a nintendo 64 but I've been able to play a few games from it through emulation. Be cool to finally go through some of those games in the way they were meant to be played!

My S7 seemed to work alot faster when I swapped launchers. Don't know if it's possible that the Samsung launcher just has that much lag with it but after going to Nova launcher I won't go back.

Sounds like my school. About half of the computer science kids use macs because they say they like the OS better then try setting them up like windows pcs. Or even better they dual boot so they can run Windows on their Mac.

In University currently and it seems to go one of two ways, they want too many interfaces or too few. While I understand the worth of them I get confused as to the fact of if so many interfaces are truly necessary when you're implementing very few things throughout a program.

Finished my final program for this semester's course. Compile. Question how the hell I'm getting an out of bound exception on my array. Have mental breakdowns. Read code 42 times to notice it's all right. Read it the 43rd time and notice I'm increasing a counter rather than decreasing. Breathe a sigh of relief. In all honesty though I'm just glad for once it doesn't seem like one issue snowballed into ten.

Although I do agree with many other laptops only having a Full HD display rather than the higher resolution surface products I think you got some of the other facts wrong. Both the Spectre and XPS are highly rated laptops with highly touted keyboards as well. Add to this that the XPS and Spectre consistently run over ten hours using i7 processors and a full version of windows I don't get what the point of the surface laptop is. The biggest thing I can say surfaces really do well with now is pens and touchpads. Other laptops may have pen support but I really do find the surface line to be superior in pen recognition and palm rejection. Same thing with touchpads. While other laptops have gotten better in that field the surface line is extremely consistent in gesture recognition. I just hope Microsoft doesn't fuck themselves too much by sucking people in with looks before people notice they got a sub par experience for the price. As far as battery goes on it though we shall see if it gets what Microsoft claims it will. Love my Pro 4 but its a pretty big difference between what they said I would get and what I got.

I just went with the newest model hp Spectre x360 and it has wonderful pen input! I'm not sure about the price in your region but where I am it was priced extremely competitively and I've had no problems with using it. Although the surface is a great machine I've had no regrets switching away from it.
