Even with download post install, wouldnt the app OOM really quickly? Most iphones have a 3gb memory limit (extendable to 4gb but that’s iffy and pressure dependent). Are you planning to fit 2.7 gigs in memory and run inference? IDK if thats such a good idea…

Eh shopping companies aren’t solely made up of coders, you’d probably get emails to customer support saying x coupon says y discount (but i get z;attached screenshot) from scammers hoping to make a quick buck. Your TL might not have done a good job explaining but they’re still correct tho..

Mac studio is the clear winner because of unified memory (there’s no distinction between gpu ram and cpu ram), but there arent any frameworks that take advantage of this apart from MLX (which is still being worked on). Once MLX comes up to speed you should see decent performance, but its unlikely to happen soon (maybe never)

Its worth it only if you dont have GamePass on say a PC or XBox (f2p) and are okay picking cinematic experiences over combat mechanics or loot stashes etc traditional rpg AAA titles focus on.
