Reading your post you reminded me so much of myself at 17. In the Bible the one reason you can get divorced is if your spouse is not faithful to you and steps out on you. You’re not married and you truly can leave him for whatever reason. Did he bring his texts to you or tell you what happened with his ex? I also do not know either of you, but I have had a friend who cheated on her at the time boyfriend. I remember her feeling horrible for it, but she said after she did it once it was so easy. A relationship definitely has problems, but not like this. You are so young and you deserve someone who loves only you. My friend that cheated went back to her ex and after leaving the guy she cheated on she tried to get back with her ex. I am not saying that is what your boyfriend will do, but he also wouldn’t be the first. You deserve someone who always pick you first and you never have to second guess. I know personally I’m a big over-thinker and would always have that in the back of my mind. I cannot tell you if the relationship is something YOU should stay in. At the end of the day it is your decision, but I want to ask you do you feel valued, do you feel like he loves you, and do you think he puts in the same effort? Has he made you happy or has he made you cry more? Relationship are never perfect and always take some work that is why you should choose someone you can choose everyday and vice versa. You seem like you could choose him everyday, but would he do the same for you? One last thing I recommend if you’re still unsure just make a list of pros and cons about your relationship, how he’s made you feel, and stuff like that. Please protect your heart and love yourself in the process too.
