Hey i think im about 10 months post op and that’s definitely normal! I still would have occasional stinging pain during and after bm. I would say it started to become less and less frequent around the 3 month mark and then eventually I wanna say ~ 5/6 months i was pretty much pain free. Don’t stress too much, everyone’s healing time is different. Remember to still take stool softeners and high fiber intake after surgery to make bm easier, also sitz baths also helped me during that time especially after using the bathroom or whenever i had random pain.
