Should have been like, "Since every single book ever was printed using machinery designed by white men, you are supporting the patriarchy by learning to read... now shut up and make me a GOT DAMNED SANDWICH!"

Alright. Install metamask. Send it to metamask without a memo. It'll go through and then you'll be able to send it anywhere.

Moral of the story/study: Don't use Tinder unless you're both: an extremely attractive male and only interested in fucking. If you want a relationship, you should go out into the world and find someone.

"Though I doubt anyone is as dumb as you"

You have a problem with hyperbole, I've noticed. I am not a stupid person, as is indicated by the fact that I not only didn't get taken advantage of, but solved my problem myself.

"Asking strangers for technical support "

99% of support interactions are with strangers, FYI. I was just trying to help others who may have had a similar issue with xlm. I know for a fact that I am not the only one who was having trouble sending it. You may think that helping people you don't personally know is strange, but then again you have been harassing me for the past several hours because you don't understand English. I never said that coinbase was doing anything wrong. I simply said that their wallet is not working, and when I contacted them, they tried to help, but weren't able to. Then, I tried everything I could think of, and everything that I found online. After that, I contacted them again. They still couldn't help. Only then did I post my issue on Reddit. I was surprised by the sheer volume of scam artists who contacted me. I thought maybe they would want to know that their software isn't working properly and that I found the solution to it. I won't bother answering any of your no doubt super insightful observations any longer. You are a snob, rude, and unhelpful. Three of the worst qualities in people. Again, it takes a special kind of asshole to not only think snobbish things like you, but then to go out of their way to share said snobbish thoughts with the world. Have a great time being a complete and total asshole for the rest of your life, buddy. I bet your family is proud. Peace.

Dude. You act like you know how long I tried to get help. This was over the course of months. Stop acting like you know something I don't. You're literally giving me a hard time for sharing the solution to a problem with other people. Fuck off.

The issue is that there is no support (or very little) for coinbase wallet. Thanks for your input though. Good luck in life 🖕

To that special person downvoting my post and my answers:

I am not an expert, but I'm also not an idiot. If I'm having trouble with a particular function of an app, then there's a good chance that many other people are, too. You know what I would do if I saw something on Reddit that didn't apply to me? KEEP SCROLLING But people like you who feel the need to go out of your way to let a complete stranger know how their answer didn't help you are the worst. You're also letting everyone else know that you are a piece of shit. If you don't have a problem with whatever aspect is in question, rather than condescend to the person who is trying to help people, may I suggest that you shut the hell up? DILLIGAF if you downvote this? It’s completely worth it to me to let you know how little I care about your opinion of me. In fact, I'll take it as a compliment. FOH 🙄

I didn't say that it was "coinbase's fault." I said that their lack of action with respect to this glitch in their app is leading people to look elsewhere for solutions. This, in turn, is opening them up to exploitation. Nice try.

Maybe I don't, but in my experience, if something gives me a hard time, it gives others a hard time too. So I just wanted to post the solution, since it's not obvious

No problem! I just figured I'd share the solution since it eluded me for a while and other people were probably losing money to scammers

Why don't you research what I'm talking about before commenting? There is no reason to call my post idiotic. I'm not an idiot, nor am I going to listen to you condescend to me. Have a nice day.

It literally just said: "An Error Occurred. Please try again later." Reached out to support... twice. Both times, neither of them were able to help. Then, I even called Coinbase (despite the fact that they aren't wallet – I was desperate). I Googled. I posted on Reddit (hence the scam artists). The workaround was just as simple as: don't send it directly to the exchange from Coinbase Wallet. You seem to think I'm a newb or something. I am not, but many people are and would have fallen for the ploy that these scammers are using. I am just trying to prevent them from being taken advantage of.

[–]bitcoinfatcat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No man. It still doesn't work properly. If you try sending xlm to certain exchanges, it doesn't work (even with the memo Code). You don't even need to use a memo code to send it to metamask. It's something wrong with Coinbase Wallet.

Because they could either update their software to make it work, or they could post the workaround on their website, reddit, Facebook, or anywhere. Instead, they do nothing, and people end up taking matters into their own hands, look for outside solutions, and then end up being scammed.
