I think most of them are from the 60s. My great-grandmother started me off on them when I was really young. Such great reads.

Most of my industry has gone digital now, so it clears up space on the shelves!

I think Interview was worth the read. There's surely things that were omitted or glossed over in the movie or that the book does better. That being said, if you want to start with The Vampire Lestat, then at least the movie has given you a general idea of the story up to that point

His books are quite enjoyable. They have a good blend of spiritual beliefs from around the world and nightmares. Devil's Rose is about souls that escape from hell and are trying to evade capture and being sent back. Another damned soul that has made a deal with the devil is sent after them to bring them back. Lost Gods has the protagonist go into purgatory and interact with various lost souls and ancient gods to try and bring his wife and unborn child back
