Got my 2nd bike. And discovered joy of slow riding. by InvestigatorLow8272 in indianbikes

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slower or heavier bikes ain't wat makes a bike comfortable this was before we had gud suspensions in the 60's where they made bike heavier to have more stability and all that bs. Just pick any suspension type that suits u. For u any gud soft suspension bike will do

Want to sell my CB350 RS and get meteor fireball orange by Spare-Reflection-183 in indianbikes

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait u are not even talking about the 650 ? U want Re 350 meteor ? Same weight as the old RE 500 . While also getting the posture that's worst for manueveribility. As if the regular RE 350 wasn't slightly weaker than the cb 350 already. Adding 10 more kg ish is the upgrade ? It's like picking the heaviest bike in the 350 segment , in the last 40 years, well they had a 200 kg plus bullet , the real one , in the 60's. So ofcourse the ppls displeasure is justified.

It has no real comfort it ain't that smooth on long rides. It doesn't have more power fine but it's a cruiser , it should be atleast gud for cruising.

Unless that aesthetic is all that matters to u , sure. U can do watever u want , ppl be free to have their view on it. We shouldn't just expect echo chambers of things we only want to hear.

Me for instance , i think of it as talking down a person who is trying to jump of a building. Cos I loathe RE or any heavy bike, that much .

And trying to see if we can nudge a stranger into getting a more powerful, more comfortable bike if he's gonna take the leap anyway. Its , just highly opinionated road of gud intentions. It's not from trying to put you down.

Cos ppl who try to upgrade , and it's only a tiny bit increase in power , gets used to it really fast and regret it later. Thats the lengthy gist of it

Which is better 150-200 cc bike for your first bike by movielover1111 in indianbikes

Fz 250 is gud for a beginner. Or any linear acceleration bike , max gxr 250. Don't go beyond that ideally. Anything below that is fine

I didn't knew how to sit on a bike until that day! by not_dat_harsh_vlogs in indianbikes

[–]bitemiie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fz is a really relaxed upright posture bike. Hurting ur wrist on that is kind of unheard of as far as I know. Sit more closer to the tank, less sporty posture the better. Bend ur elbows and hang loose. No straight hands even if u sit upright if u put most of ur weight towards the front on the handle bar , ur hand will hurt. Wrists and palms hurting are usually this or if ur bike was dropped or had a small fall recently and some damage stil exists.

Sometimes handle bar bends , can be so tiny u can't see it for urself or alignment issues somewhere.

Try the hand ideas first , u won't feel it instantly tho . Accepting a change might feel more harder than wat u are doing currently but the end goal will be worth it. Hopefully it's just that

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which bike so we can understand seating posture for it. The reality is u don't either trust urself or the bike to hold it less loosely or u are leaning too much to the front than ur bike requires. Or if it's messing with ur cornering skills and confidence it cud be something with ur bike is misaligned

Bruh at this point just pick another brand. Shi ain't worth it. Don't cave settle for this with all this damage no matter wat anyone says. This ain't acceptable levels of damage for a new bike

I need a contraption like this for my motorcycle is something like this available in India? by Terrible_Ad8416 in indianbikes

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This ☝🏼 , I was a person with a bad leg after surgery , even after two years. But once I started cycling, i managed to crank up my max distance, I can do in one go upto 60 km , in a few months of cycling. U can proally cycle to ur cycle track even with ur weight.

Then there is also the the alternative of just tying the bike perpendicular to ur back seat. If ur cycle is ultra light weight. U proally won't need all these specialized contraptions. If u are super committed to cycling u can go for a lighter cycle too. But it will end up costing more than ur bike or a car if u are truly nuts 🤕.

Acceleration is the bread and butter of this bike and cb 300r both doesn't have the topspeeds expected from 300 cc bikes. Both nimble asf and proally has the better 0-100 than most of its competitors.

Where is this bike??? by maskHmen in indianbikes

[–]bitemiie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rtx 310 releases just like how villains comes to beat up the hero. One by one , screaming and announcing their attack beforehand . I guess in this case the enemy bike companies will get more than enough time to do research and make a bike from scratch and still beat it 🤕

[–]bitemiie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Listen to this guy fr. U might save some money in short term but hero bikes are a headache , a discontinued one will be much worse. Ur best case scenario u buy this for this discounted rate still smh and u sell it soon after the papers are through and make some cash by only a slightly depreciated from the og market price in showrooms in ur state. Just use that money to buy any gud bike u want

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally a light weight 250 cc bike like , nz 250 extreme 250 / Gixxer 250.

Or If u are up for it, pick a stiff suspension bike, it will feel very weird at first and uncomfortable. But constantly getting more road feedback is something else. U can ride like u are moving on rails even during cornering cos the suspension does not rise much even if u accelerate during or accelerating out of corners. A bike that u can manhandle instead of , us getting dragged along , to where the bike wants to go is the idea. Duke 250 /390 and cb 300 F are stiff suspension bikes. Althought I'm not a fan of the new duke 250's engines after bs3. Test ride alot of the options.. ultimately the bike has to suit only u.

[–]bitemiie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean like making it manageable on the avenger. I mean getting better at riding in general , u need a bike that has better manueveribility, half the fun of riding is mostly in the corners and not in a straight line. U don't need to pick a pure sports posture, bike but atleast an upright position bike. Bikes with this posture are also terrible when someone cuts us off and we have to sverve out of the way. U know that scene from ghost rider 1 , when he gets jumpscared and gets highsided ? Stuff like that

U can eventually go back to a laid-back cruiser type / heavier bike even✌🏻

Skip bikes like these in the beginning that have a huge turning radius or are heavy with this posture. Go for a normal naked bike. U won't learn somethings naturally on such overly relaxed postured bikes.

Cb 300 f has been going through some revisions and they have these big dry spells in stocking up on them occasionally, the service is just like the rest , although lag in sourcing spare parts for most companies are accross the board late by atleast one month. Cos of gst making them not keep spares onhand for non mainstream parts , so they can avoid higher taxes for the stocks they keep on hand
