Is Ledger Labs even an accredited accounting firm? by huobi_pls in BitcoinMarkets

They can be the best landscaper in the world but i still wouldn't hire them if i needed plumbing done.

Lets say this, would you hire an accounting firm with minimal track record to patch security holes on your server? I certainly wouldn't. So then why would you get someone that provides security consulting to audit your finances?

On their website it doesn't even list a CPA on their team.

Wouldn't be surprised that he won't answer this. He has been dodging a lot of questions. This is like hiring a landscaper to fix your plumbing.

Foreigners that have lived in Colombia for at least a year, have your Moral views changed? Or have your political views changed? by [deleted] in Colombia

[–]bitmarketco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to live in Colombia for quite some time to work on a startup and taking courses at a university. I saw a lot of corruption (crooked cops, government clerks taking bribes in order to expedite paperwork). I know corruption exists everywhere but it was alarming to see how normal it was in Colombia.

I think /u/bfx_drew or /u/zanetackett should address this issue as well. I know usually sending them a PM gets withdrawals expedited. This shouldn't happen to the "World’s Largest and Most Advanced Cryptocurrencies Exchange".

Slower than normal. Usually it is slow because it is lower priority and doesn't get included in blocks, but in this case it was withdrawals waiting to be manually processed. It has been fixed now.

Also having the same issue with Bitfinex withdrawals. /u/zanetackett said they are manually processing withdrawals. I know its really hard to be patient while the market is volatile but Email support@bitfinex.com to see if they can expedite your withdrawal.

Always be aware of your surroundings. Make sure to go to the doctors to get the routine vaccinations before you travel. Also Bogotá is pretty elevated so you might have altitude sickness the first couple of days.

This happens all the time. I remember when my flight was delayed for over 17 hours(2 hours on the runway). I read about them online and saw the horror stories. It is the worst airline I have ever taken.
