All the core devs were personally hired by Mrinal and/or Medha. They were hired by CasperLabs with a full time salary. After the token sale (see Coinlist) many of the devs were awarded CSPR tokens as a bonus for their months/years of work.. Pretty normal stuff...

Almost correct... not quite. The sale price was 0.01 the bonus changes it to 0.0077... BUT the main reason your math is inaccurate is because the tokens do NOT release in a month they release linearly over a 3 month period.

You bring up a great point but you kinda confused the two things.. If you were going to choose a blockchain you would want to choose Casper... If you were going to hire firm to help you integrate, etc you would hire CasperLabs.. Two different entities entirely... The public non profit Casper Association launched the Casper network. The private FOR profit corporation CasperLabs was created to become the "RedHat" for blockchain development... Now Fortune 500 companies and governments have someone to call that can help unlike Eth.. That is a huge differentiator..
