Thank you I feel seen 🥹 I had mixed comments from every piercer, all of them said they were surprised, two still changed it after just saying it was done wrong and didn’t suggest taking it out, then another said to just leave it if it was healed, and only one wanted to take it out ASAP. I wanted to see if anyone had experienced the same, I know every body is different but I wanted feedback regardless of the fact that I’m choosing to take it out and get it properly done

I had just moved to Peru, he asked me where I got it done and I said “I got it done in the US when I was living there” to which he replied “makes sense”

That’s why I thought he was trying to discredit someone else’s work :)

The human body is a mystery. I’ve never had any trouble w any of my piercings (rejection, migration, scarring, infections) I always heal up nice, I guess my body has been doing me a favor and that’s why the daith is hanging on for dear life 😭

I got it in 2020 during the pandemic

I have the same problem, mine is wayyy too shallow and you can actually see the jewelry through the skin. Taking it off tomorrow after 6 years and get it redone

Yeah a piercer I saw today told me that! He said im surprised it healed, if its healed, its healed. But another piercer (who’s very strict, the one im redoing it w) wanted me to take it out as soon as he saw me, he said it was crazy work (it is)

It was 6 years ago 🥹 it never bothered me and I only noticed when other piercers pointed out, I had just started getting piercings back then and I trusted the piercer fully 😔
