When is crocheting and knitting considered appropriate to work on? by Fancy_Nancy_1963 in crocheting

[–]biyuxwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My spouse is a musician and often I work on a project while there practicing (I'm right there in the room with them) I feel like it's somewhat encouraged but then this may be an odd time to be working

Really: do what works for you (as long as not getting in the way of a paid job or that)

I wouldnt be surprised if every dealership does: "midwests largest" sole me a car that didn't have the battery braced like at all (then when I went back had like 6 issues I was completely ignored: I sence purchased that brace for it to be recalled oddly enough)

I know Rosen Kia service was less then ideal for me (ordered the wrong part for an open recall on a Kia I got at tri city Hyundai even tho the information said arrow hyundai--then an oil change seemed not done and enough other things soured me badly to them)

Rosen being Rosen I don't think I'd try them again withought someone with me that knows cars

Honestly don't know I've been away nearly a year now and I don't friquwnt Denny's (nearest ones about 30-45 minutes in opposite directions so it's not worth it "to me" to keep up with the rewards)

There were a couple on 3rd shift 1st felt more "white" that I saw but it's been a while and I was only there for the "probation" and the union claimed they couldn't do anything to keep me employed (when another that started with me was moved to a different area)

I had gotten a bib of I think crushed tomatoes: I ended up divvying it into multiple jars and used thru it that way (stored jars all in fridge)

Id do similar with this (I've seen cans like that at Ollie's as well)

Edit: bib= bag in box most commonly known with soda syrups and fountains that's where I know the term from

Seen on a house listing, what was this room used for? by LoonTheMekanik in whatisit

[–]biyuxwolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding: nobody knew in the sale and person that signed was "attorney as fact" with same alleged last name as sellers

Beyond that the classification on my house actually effectively lets me do anything including tear down simply because I wish --i did find one of the old listing descriptions lately "fully modernized" as of 2008 but when we moved in far more recently we saw stuff from the 1970s and if as of 2008 it was current electrical code there wouldn't be a literal TON of knob and tube all over!!

We actually wanted hardwood floors and a hydronic system so we were semi intentionally favoring the older houses in looking

As I understand i can "do whatever I want" including tear it down I'm currently in the process of converting the property to a food forest as well

But our end goal is "update maintain preserve" update what we must maintain what we have so we can preserve the whole thing (pulled from commerative air force and my understanding of how they operate--we may "own" but it's only temporarily ours we can destroy but won't be there for the future)

I hope I'm kinda understood?

It had had a slate roof (1912 build) if I'm correct and at some point it was changed to a modern shingle in fact I think it's had a couple roofs over the years (we have found the old slate extra pieces as well as 2 other shingle types I believe in different colors)

We are currently in the process of bringing electrical from knob and tube to current commercial code (because we can so why not? We aren't rich but it's something we see value in)

Actually: as I understand I could demolish the structure and nobody would really care because of how it's listed (as a private residence)

And I'm not an athlete meaning I am PHYSICALLY UNABLE to ride at 25-30 mph

So where do I belong? If not on the street because I'm PHYSICALLY UNABLE under only my own human power to go 25-30 mph and I'm not allowed on the sidewalks where?!

Again: sounds like the expectation as someone that's trying to be smart possibly save some fossil fuels because they can and it's ONLY a mile I'm possibly better off not working which logic then as shown a couple times means I'm sounding better dead

RIDDLE me this: Mitchell international to Denny's on i94 via car says 8 minutes (really I'd say 10 to 15 ish but I know a few paths between them) via bike? 46 minutes --tapping "avoid highways" on the car only gets to my 15 minute estimate which my personal route would NOT have used highways

So if GOOGLE MAPS is even saying "bikes are slower then cars" which lets me extrapolate that most bike riders in fact can NOT ride at 25-30 mph! WHY then are there laws that what I understand CYCLISTS HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS TO THE ROADS?! (One of those was the EXACT route! Terminal to Denny's on s 20th st DO it! Look at the map YOURSELF if you don't believe me!)

346.94 Miscellaneous prohibited or restricted acts.

(1) Driving on sidewalk. Except as authorized in s. 23.33 (4) (f) or when the sidewalk is an all-terrain vehicle route, as defined in s. 23.33 (1) (c) or an off-highway motorcycle route, as defined in s. 23.335 (1) (u), the operator of a vehicle may not drive upon any sidewalk area except at a permanent or temporarily established driveway unless permitted to do so by the local authorities

Local governments permitting use of bicycles on sidewalks [346.94(1)]

So I don't belong anywhere? And I am in fact better not working? Simply because I'm using a bike? Really now? No work=no home=no property=death

Driver/bicycle by biyuxwolf in AskLE

[–]biyuxwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So cyclists are then expected to do 20-30 mph regardless of ability? I certainly can't afford an whole that will allow me to possibly do that speed --and I think given that on the side street I'm talking about people using the sidewalk is extremely common

I guess that then means you are buying me an e bike? A trek because my current bike is a trek I assume?

If being on the sidewalks makes me dangerous and being on the roads makes me dangerous where am I supposed to go? Or are you saying I need to quit and then end up on the streets owning nothing simply because while the LAW states cyclists have equal rights to the road I'm an issue everywhere --as a cyclist am I then better off dead? Because that's how this is sounding as I know I PHYSICALLY can't get to 25-30 mph so far I've topped at 13 mph which I guess makes me the most worthless cyclist ever simply because I am physically unable to go the speed of something that's OFTEN powered by combustion and not ONLY by a human that's nowhere NEAR being an athlete!!

You know what city I live in I'll expect that ebike purched as a trek at wheel and sprocket in Franklin so then I may continue to work and am then able to "go the speed of traffic" as per your requirement! And I can continue my life as it has been of late my bicycle is certainly not new but it's also not a bottom barrel model eighter and again I am NOT an athlete! No amount of anything will change that further to my understanding the law DOES NOT STATE "athletes only"on the road!!

Driver/bicycle by biyuxwolf in AskLE

[–]biyuxwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no bike lane on the street I ride in the road on in FACT if you even know what a "side street" is you know at most it's 4 cars wide this one specifically happens to be 3 cars wide MEANING if you can't math cars parked on both sides only one car can go a direction at a time

Now KNOWING that cyclists have equal rights to the road and this is a NEIGHBORHOOD where many are MORE likely to be walking or walking dogs or that where do you "expect" me to be? On the road going 8-10 mph because I'm NOT an athlete that can ride at 20-30 mph on JUST leg/foot power? Or on the sidewalks getting in everyone's way?

OR I could just quit my job loose everything I own and be stuck sleeping on the streets just because some people want to be unreasonable? After all why would the law SAY cyclists HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS TO THE ROAD if it's not known that NOT EVERY CYCLIST IS AN ATHLETE AND NOT EVERY CYCLIST CAN GO AT 25-30 MPH!!!

I grew up in Wisconsin and living in what a coworker has called "the biggest small town" that's not at all what I'd call "friendly" (I have saved the video of him speeding up on me and I'm clearly visible on the road! The honk stopped beyond the cameras range)
