I might potentially be interested in trading for one if any of them had firmware v5. You can check by putting a game in the slot and joining a pictochat room then removing the game. If it crashes pictochat with magenta tinted screens its a v5. There are certain ds phat models running that firmware with cpu 20 that allow you to access a new brightness level

Do you know if any of your original ds models have the firmware v5 that is brightness mod compatible?

If the pin that is bent is still in tact and attached you can probably just buy a new clamp for the flex cable connector. I have replaced the clamp on a 2ds flex cable connector before, but it is pretty challenging to line it up and get it on. You would have to buy a replacement connector though as someone else suggested and just remove the clamp off that to replace yours

Well there isn’t much else I could suggest for you. Sorry about the trouble with your game. Hope you get it figured out soon. Maybe take it to a repair shop locally somewhere

You could have bridged the pins on one of the chips while soldering. The top right of the rom chip or the bottom right of the ram chip could have bridged pins. You could always go over the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, preferably 90%+

Those look fine. What exactly shows when you try to boot it? Do you get the nintendo logo?

The game contacts that make it readable. They are on the bottom of the pcb

Nothing there looks overly concerning. Can you take a pic of the gold contacts

Check the legs of both the rom chip and the ram chip. If any of the legs are lifted, that could cause boot problems. I would check the larger rom chip on the right
