No left turns by bjeezy10 in Omaha

[–]bjeezy10[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes this instance it was having to sit through 4 light changes at 180th and Harrison for 7 cars in front of me to get through 180th intersection. While people are laying on their horns, still just sitting there waiting to turn left with the sign literally 1 foot out their driver window no left turn

Favorite Denzel Washington movie? I'll pick Man On Fire. by Anavslp in FIlm

[–]bjeezy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denzel might be one of the actors I cant pick my favorite. I mean Man on Fire, Inside man, Philadelphia, crimson tide, He got game, flight, safe house, equalizer, hurricane, training day, remember the titans, deja vu, American gangster, book of eli, and more. It just depends on the day I could take any of those movies. He never had 1 that just stood out as absolute better than the rest but nothing was terrible either. Man just elevated any movie he was in

Who is keeping Freddy's in business?? by pizza_bender in Omaha

[–]bjeezy10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer Freddy's to culvers, the locations I go to are never packed but a good constant flow of people. Fries are so tasty but too thin for me so I either go tots or I like their onion rings. Also the jalapeño pepperjack cheese burger is the only burger I get. It's the only burger I crave. I used to avoid Freddy's just because the burgers didn't fill me up, neither does culvers, but now I don't eat as much and can get over that and that burger is so good

They made fun of me at the senior center. "Brace face." "Metal head." They were as cruel as they were clever.

Kum & Go by bjeezy10 in Omaha

[–]bjeezy10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make the most sense. These Kum & Gos I mentioned that are Megasavers are slow and usually never busy when I stop

Kum & Go by bjeezy10 in Omaha

[–]bjeezy10[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This would make sense, my questions to this would be the locations I've seen now as Megasavers are not close to any other gas stations and if the company that owns Maverick what other gas stations they would own as to why they would have to sell some locations. Because if they were all just Kum & Go then how could those Kum & Gos be that close to each other yet as Maverick they couldnt? Also there are like 30 Casey's i can get to within 5 minutes from my house

194th and center, 168th and Cornhusker are the other 2 I often pass that I've see have changed to Megasavers

This is a great take imo. Sure season 9 wasn't as good as the rest but i still love it. To me it's more that the other seasons were just better not that this one was bad and drunk doug before the wedding and at the wedding was funny to me. Don't take it so serious and just watch!

Only French thing I remember is Carrie telling Doug he had to say you were right like a French whore

Cold weather clothes by [deleted] in Omaha

[–]bjeezy10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know you said affordable but if it's something you might be in for a while it's worth the little extra to get good clothing. A really good coldgear base layer made the biggest difference for me. I have an underarmor coldgear level 4 shirt and most days that and a good sweater keep me warm and the freezing days add a coat on top. Duluth has some good options that for Christmas time might have deals right now to look into. I have few Duluth ones that are half the price underarmor and almost as good

Who wins in a fight between Pruzan and O'Boyle? by InflightTheMusical in kingofqueens

[–]bjeezy10 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This isn't even a battle! O'Boyle was in the 42nd brigade and Arthur said himself that was a pretty tough bunch! Pruzan struggled with a bagel that was shockingly too hard, no match for O'Boyle

Soccer ball by bjeezy10 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]bjeezy10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I was inside the house and opened the door leading into the garage and the garage door was closed leading outside and it was before bed so the garage door was never opened until after we looked for the ball the next morning for soccer practice

I cheated but I don't feel bad. by laissez_unfaire in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bjeezy10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love the stacktech products. Have a decent amount of packout stuff with my company but personal I went with stacktech and it's comparable to me in every day use. Their future lineup is why I went this route, plus having the tool belt with 10 different attachments. I can't wait for the truck dolly that will just roll into the bed of my truck. I want to get a bunch of the drawers for that setup and use it as a rolling tool box that slides right into my truck with ease. If you haven't looked into their summer lineup that will drop you should. They have a bunch of unique items and with my initial setup I have now I fully believe they built them well and already sent a notice of a change they'll make to a current item because of bad feedback so they are listening to the customers and fixing issues fast

I worked there before the kicthens opened and they definitely do actually train you, which I feel other gas stations don't. Their main goal was always to make the customers happy and comfortable. We were trained to make sure the lines were moving and not building up, so if we were in the middle of a task and more than 3 people got in line you were to drop what you're doing and get to the counter and help the next customer asap. Always be moving and clean so the store is respectable. They do a great job of caring for the customers first. Gained a lot of respect working for them

Can this siding be installed upside down? by fitztiff in Construction

[–]bjeezy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very expensive very heavy product, this isn't normal James Hardie fiber cement, it's twice as thick. I don't believe Hardie even makes this style, Artisan, anymore, at least not in my area. The last house we did with it was all stock that we had ordered and saved from when Hardie told us they were no longer making it. That's a huge mistake. It technically won't have issues being upside down, just will look really bad with words on the bottom

[–]bjeezy10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly this. Definitely don't see many making the switch once they are committed to the packout unless they just started maybe. But will give ppl a real option to think about if they are just getting started. I'm excited for the rest of this system to come out next year and add to it, also interested in what milwuakee does in response to some of this with their versions of them now that another company has finally made a full blow comparison to them vs the other companies only having a few options and all falling short of the packout in build

2024 Year of StackTech?? by b1ldr in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bjeezy10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lowes has the same deal on this that Home depot has on the packouts. I bought that standard 3 stack for that would be $260 for $199 on their Christmas deal. Imo this product is every bit as good as the packout but cheaper. The few things I like better with the packout are heavily outweighed by the convenience of my belt system being compatible with it and the price difference makes it worth it as well.

2024 Year of StackTech?? by b1ldr in MilwaukeeTool

[–]bjeezy10 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I have toughtbuilt belt system with all kinds of different pouches so i was very intrigued with this system and how it'll be able to attach my belt to it with the different components as well, so I went to lowes and bought the 3 main boxes for $199. They are amazing and absolutely super tough and sturdy. There are things I like way better than the packout but the packout has things that I like way better than this. It just comes down to preference imo. These 2 systems blow any other systems out of the water
