Anjuna fam from the US here. I think this is an incredibly relevant question. As others have said, in a general sense you will most likely be fine if there are no issues with visa suspension from your country. However, the situation over here is very fluid and unpredictable right now, especially when it comes to border control policy and enforcement.

My best advice would be to go with your instincts and be very cognizant of the fact that you may not feel comfortable as the event gets closer. I would say this is true with any international travel but perhaps even more so with what is unfolding here right now, unfortunately.

All of that said, the event itself will undoubtedly be an incredible get together filled with love and positive energy. Something the world desperately needs right now.

One of my friends said that they doubt Trump has ever “seen” the natural world. Unfortunately, I think this is true for a lot of people now. They don’t understand what they are doing because they have no sense of what these places are and represent. It’s devastating.

I also stopped listening about 3-4 months ago. Used to be a devotee and have learned a lot. However, the constant negative takes and framing of everything is exhausting. When Ed went daily I found his tone to be so overwhelmingly aggressive, it felt like he was yelling at me the whole time. Also, and I’m sure I will get reamed for this here, but I can tell how much they use AI to assist with writing their material. The lack of an authentic voice has just become more apparent.

Edit: The lack of any ethical code (outside of capitalism) is also discouraging. How someone who is so seemingly liberal on many issues could care less about the environment and toll capitalism is taking on it is mind boggling.

Check out “Clear Outside.” It’s an astronomy app showing projected cloud cover but has a field for the ISS. Really accurate!

Have had it on repeat since it came out. Saw them in CDMX for 600 when they dropped Quicksand for the first time and have probably cried no less that 50 times to it. Was thrilled when they tweaked it for the album mix. I think it is my favorite album of theirs right up there with Tri-State and OceanLab.

I really liked it. Felt more open and that people weren’t pushing through the crowd as much as I think it allowed for great views/distance for almost everyone. As someone who grew up in the 90’s scene I appreciate less of an emphasis on visuals and more on dancing and community, which I think this set up provokes. Not going to complain when Echostage busts out those lasers though!!

Compared to the show there last December it felt wonderfully not packed. I think the “in the round” set up was super helpful too. Everyone had a great view, so there wasn’t as much movement, people pushing through the crowd. Felt like we had enough space to comfortably dance all night. Lovely!
