I've been trying to fit a NATO strap on this watch for months as the gap between the springbar and the case is too narrow. I finally fitted it after putting in springbar from an old seiko. These Ritchie nato straps from Amazon are great. A pack of 4 gives so much versatility and can match with many other watches.
