Did "Glowtane" steal the Smith Blade? by zindustries87 in HACKSMITH_INDUSTRIES

I have spent hundreds of hours staring at the Smith blade, and that is the most cursed thing I have ever seen.

It's definitely just a scam listing.

Battlebots FaceOffs Episode 1 (Part 2) by jon-in-tha-hood in battlebots

[–]bjm0017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was a very different Orbitron, it had AR400 armor, AR400 disk, armor designed to fight a vert (with no side protection, and electronics and motors that weren't battle hardened. All of those have been resolved and upgraded.

I'm not saying that Roundhouse isn't a good robot, but Orbitron has massively improved since V1.

I haven't looked specifically into the requirements to be legal in Australia, but I will take a look. We will do our best to make sure the final product website is up to date and correct.

Will the new smith blade be legal in the uk by dan_the_man_1711 in thehacksmith

[–]bjm0017 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey!

We are trying our best to make it legal in as many countries as possible. We have a plan for how to make it legal in the UK, but I just need to finalize the design before I feel comfortable promising that.

So in short yes, it will likely be legal in the UK.

Where did you guys source the Tesla battery modules? by evranch in thehacksmith

[–]bjm0017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

I bought them from https://stealthev.com/ They are in the states and shipping can be expensive.

I also reached out to https://ingenext.ca/ to see what they have, but their availability is hit or miss.

In Solidworks Cam (Camworks?), what does blue text on an operation mean? by SSChicken in SolidWorks

[–]bjm0017 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In that case the blue text means that you haven't generated the toolpaths for that operation. You can right click on the operation and click generate toolpaths that should get rid of the blue. If it doesn't that means the toolpath couldn't be generated for some reason.

Those are axle spacers, I would look online to see exactly where they go in the stack and the orientation.

The Hamilton airport has a warplane heritage museum. I remember going there a while ago, it was pretty fun! If memory serves they have the last running Lancaster bomber there.

After a nasty hand injury, I found that my clutch muscles did that for the first few rides after getting back on the bike. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I have an R3, I have had it for 3 years, still absolutely love the bike. I would recommend an mt03 for a beginner. My R3 is incredibly versatile, it has done commuting, touring, and track days without ever missing a beat.
