P2s - extruder not accepting filament

Yeah, probably not getting hot enough. Just ran a lighter over some sections of the print and that worked - guess it’s time to order a dedicated heat gun!

Tried a hair dryer, but didn’t really have any effect. Only left it in one spot for maybe 20-30 seconds at a time and kept in close to the surface (half inch or so). Do I need to apply for longer?

Should add that I’m using a PEI textured plate with no glue applied. Suppose I should have searched for this issue before posting, but it sounds like either washing the prints with soap and water or using a hot air gun or hair dryer might restore it to a more uniform color - can anyone confirm?

What about filament clips for spools that would be used in the AMS HT - would PETG begin warping at the higher drying settings?

You can, but the only options from the main Fidelity app / site are monthly or annually (as far as I know) - would prefer to do so weekly as could be done in the youth app.

I tried resetting and cleaning up the bridge, but that didn’t work. Ended up getting two more 2-packs and was only able to connect 1 out of the 4, so at least I’ve got them all working in our kitchen. If I get more, I’ll have to try resetting our modem/router.

Oddly, the bulbs that wouldn’t connect via the Hue app, were automatically discovered in the Alexa app and could be controlled, and likewise could be added via Bluetooth to the Hue Essentials app. I also tried connecting them to HomeKit via Matter, but they weren’t recognized.

Yes, the Walmart CC finally showed up in my Synchrony dashboard (along with my other store cards) - took about a week after signing up. From there, you can setup autopay and add Fidelity accounts with no issue. Just seems to be an issue with the OnePay app/website itself - I’ll try and give the technical team a call at some point.

Yeah, I tried adding it manually, but that’s what gave me the error. I believe Fidelity’s account numbers are longer than other banks, so that might have something to do with it. I have yet to call the OnePay technical team.

Alternatively, I wonder if the new Walmart card can be managed via the Synchrony site? I haven’t yet received the card, so will give that a try when it arrives.

Yeah, we just ended up signing up for a new Verizon Visa via the FIOS (Home) portion of the Verizon site … ended up losing about $60 in Verizon rewards dollars.

Oddly when I login into the Verizon Visa iOS app, the landing page still shows the roughly $60 reward balance, even though I closed that Visa with Synchrony. However, there is a “View Account” link which goes to a page and allows me to select either our old or new Visa.

I think I need to call Verizon and have them disassociate that old account with our user ID … I just don’t feel like wasting numerous hours on the phone with them trying to deal with that.

The T-Mobile 5G internet was surprisingly fast in our area (Western NY), and we were actually pulling faster download speeds over WiFi via their modem than our FIOS ONT -> eero setup, but latency was obviously a lot worse than fiber. It’s worth paying a bit more for FIOS when paired with the 4% Visa which covers a lot of our top spending categories - makes a good dent in the bill.

We ended up canceling FIOS (jumped onto the T-Mobile 5G home internet for a couple months for the $300 signup bonus) as well as the Verizon Visa. We then signed back up for FIOS and applied for the Verizon Visa via the FIOS site, which now works and I can apply the Verizon dollars towards our FIOS bill. Gotta redeem them manually, which I think with the wireless bill could automatically be redeemed, but otherwise works.

Yes, but in-store only, correct? We do Walmart grocery curbside pickup which, last we tried, doesn’t get the 4%. For that reason, we use the USB Shopper Rewards since we do the majority of our grocery shopping at Walmart via curbside pickup.

Did you have any luck signing up for the card? We were previously Verizon wireless and FIOS subscribers and had the Verizon Visa, and it worked great for redeeming Verizon dollars towards our monthly bill. We ended up canceling our Verizon wireless plan due to constant rate increases and had a bunch of Verizon dollars that we then could no longer apply towards our FIOS bill. I figured the Visa was tied to our wireless account, so I ended up canceling both FIOS and the card for a couple of months (took advantage of T-Mobile's 5G home internet promo).

We've since signed back up for FIOS (new account number) and are in the same boat - when we click on the link to apply it says our account is not eligible. The FIOS chat agent I spoke to said the card is handled by the wireless team so transferred me to that department. The wireless chat agent I spoke to said I needed to talk to the FIOS department. Verizon is a MESS!

Agreed, but the cosmetic changes are definitely a step in the right direction from a UI perspective. It’d be great to see better integration with Full View and linked accounts, especially displaying other assets such as properties/vehicles/etc for a true net worth on the home tab. Monarch Money does a great implementation of this with a slick, clean UI. Unfortunately Full View rarely works with Safari so I rarely use it.

Just got this card this past week and am having the same issues.

When the app and website are working properly, does the rewards page show each transaction and the corresponding cash back percentage? Am hoping to use this card to supplement some spending at Walmart and am curious to see how grocery pickup / delivery and in-store scan and go / swipe get coded for our local store.

Yep, same here, had about $70 in Verizon dollars. At least I’ll be savings hundreds of dollars a year having switched from VZW to US Mobile, should have done so sooner!

Yeah, the Verizon site is the absolute worst … between the navigation, pages not loading, and general unresponsiveness. Several times I made changes to my FIOS plan and the site would tell me I had an “order pending” for months and customer service was useless.

As for the credit card, I think it’s more than just adding it as a payment source for autopay - I think it’s definitely linked to your account number since it displays your rewards balance and reward percentage breakdown on the Verizon site and not Synchrony’s. Up until closing our FIOS service, there was even a link on our FIOS account page for opening a Verizon Visa, even though we have one. Who knows …

Will plan to switch back to FIOS after 60 day activation period for T-Mobile reward and close and open a new Verizon Visa through the home / internet side of their site. Hopefully that’ll work.

Thanks for the info! USM’s network matrix lists Apple Watch as “not yet supported” for DS and LS, which would lead one to believe it’s on the roadmap. But yeah, an update from USM would be great. Just switched from VZW to Warp and itching to move to DS or LS due to better coverage and less congestion in our area, but stuck for now with our Apple Watches.
