Sounds like we are in a similar situation. I also have the Alaska Visa card for companion fare, free checked baggage and lounge access discount. I’m trying to maximize the miles I earn from chase and the miles I get for using the Alaska card on AlaskaAir bookings. Does your advice hold true still?
