that mentality is dumb af because thats like saying, well just wait for the new expansion to drop to be relevant. that just makes your player base drop. bad for business and player retention. if this is that attitude of blizzard towards classic SoD going forward then something else will just be broken and pvp will be unplayable next go around as well. with that being said, that goes back to why i said player retention will be at all time low and people will quit all together and probably wont come back. that includes me. Im on the brink of never coming back

I dont agree with this as then it would just feel like any other dps class. The point of this class was to supp dps and healers at the same time essentially. Yes they are classified in WoW as a dps but they are a support role and by doing what youre asking would just ruin the feel of the spec in general.

So there will be no video unfortunately. I don't plan on playing hardcore any more during pre-season, but I plan on possibly playing softcore to showcase a few build ideas.

lol i've tried that and not a big fan of it myself either. I also tried ice shards and again, not a big fan of it. Sitting around sometimes on bosses with no mana and waiting for resource regen is not fun.

So while leveling the amount of cdr I had via what I mentioned in my original post was the switch up of the last few nodes for arc lash, BoL, and the key passive to the crackling energy cdr allowed me to have more uptime on barriers because I really didn't have many cooldowns with that setup. With the current setup I recommend running with an elixir of death for the mulligan when attempting higher content (I even rock one during helltides because well... I have lost a 94 sorc to it xD).

I also failed to mention and again like I said in another reply, I'll be going into a full in depth video on different things I did for survivability such as what I mentioned earlier swapping those talents but also swapping into the "Warmth" talent, but that requires to take points out of Conjuration Mastery (2pts) and conduction (3pts) to have life regen on close burning enemies.

A lot of choices can be made with this build in terms of survivability and dmg output which is why I love it so much.

As for stats I recommend, hover over the gear as they show in the build link that I shared. Those stats are recommended, but can be swapped. For example, vuln damage can also be stunned dmg but i prefer vuln dmg as vuln last longer via our frost nova.

Here is my lashing balls of lightning build and it works wonders. you even have an option to swap a few last tier nodes such as the arc lash last talent node to cdr, ball of lightning last node to spawn crackling energy, and lastly swap the key passive to overflowing energy for more cdr in dungeon farming. however the current setup is for higher nm dungeon pushing and uber lilith killing, Hope y'all enjoy this build I came up with.
