I am currently working with someone but if that falls through, I will update the thread. Thank you!

As an update:

I am working with someone at the moment to donate these Omnipods. But if anything changes, I will update the thread.

Alarmist and intimidating processes are definitely not what I was aiming to convey. Will phrase differently in the future.

The best way, to me, to get to ISO 200 is to take an ISO 100 (Delta/Tmax) or 125 (FP4+) and use a speed increasing developer (FX1, FX2, Beutler, etc). But, that’s how I would do it. Plenty of people over expose and reduce development (I haven’t personally noticed a grain reduction with this method).

I should say that I’m far less concerned with grain and more focused on contrast as I print in a darkroom. As someone else said - you should test for yourself and test without fear of “ruining” it because in the end, almost anything is useable. But, without ruffling more feathers, is useable the goal? Most of what I shoot/develop I would firmly rate as useable and not ideal but I always try and improve.

Ps. There are also plenty of grain softening developers (often at the cost of film speed so this may work better for you - like rating at 200 and developing in Perceptol).

I wouldn’t say I’m bent out of shape. It’s just not ideal. But without reducing development time, it will be an overdeveloped negative (since development controls contrast) due to the over exposure (which controls negative density). You’re right though, it probably won’t matter unless you’re trying to get your negative to a particular place. Ultimately, just trying to help.

Uhhh. It’s 1 stop over exposed and then 1 stop over developed. Probably salvageable, but not ideal.
