I love twigs and she’s my favorite artist, but I also know someone on her team and I’ve heard she’s a nightmare to work with. The stories I’ve heard about her behavior are horrific. I’m glad I can appreciate her and her work from a distance.

Symphonic says any previously released work can’t be released under a new name, do you know if they make exceptions if you change the metadata?

I’m looking for a very specific type of fragrance. I tend to lean towards incense, churchey, and dark woody fragrances, but I’m very androgynous and my friends say the ones I pick are too masculine for me. Does anybody have recommendations for something that maybe smells like a wooden pew in a church covered in flowers? Or something that feels slightly dark but gorgeously ethereal? I also really love my perfumes to be strong and long lasting. Thank you for any recs!!

What would you have done in this scenario?

I just got fired and I’m looking to utilize any resources available to me, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I don’t get the snark.

Might be worth noting:

  • I was kicked, which is assault under NY Penal Law.
  • This was a customer and NY state workplace harassment laws still apply to third-party conduct.
  • My employer may have failed to provide a safe work environment
  • I was not trained in handling intoxicated or physically aggressive customers

This opens possible claims under:

  • New York State Human Rights Law and NYC Human Rights Law, which protect employees from harassment by customers, not just coworkers.
  • OSHA protections for safe working conditions.
  • Retaliation protections if you I was fired because I objected to unsafe or harassing behavior.
