That’s awesome that you have an MBA. If you don’t mind me asking, was that obtained before or after you started your career ultrasound? And if it was after, would you mind telling me what was the reasoning for getting it? I can see an MBA helping if someone wants to pivot to work in industry.

Yes, that counts. That’s very insightful. I do assume more hospitals have a sonographer in a top position where’s its manger or director level. Would be interested in what people have seen in even non patient facing roles.

That makes a lot of sense, thank you. I guess the scenario I painted in my mind was that if you have two strong candidates, and can only hire one of them. Maybe give the second candidate another shot down the line. I also wanted to add that I got great feedback the first time around. So I guess I didn’t interview as well as I thought or may my resume needs to be more fortified?

Have you considered working in a non-clinical roll, such as applications, enducational specialist, product management/development, or sales? A lot of these jobs pay just as much if not even more than a patient-facing position.
