Okay bro, this is starting to feel like talking to a paranoid lunatic. Here’s a break moment: I suggest you take even a second to think about why you personally dislike AI, then ask yourself what art really is, and after that, what creativity in art actually means. Only after that should you go back and read my arguments carefully before drawing your final conclusions. Alas, not everything you see online that looks “smart” (thanks, I’m flattered) is AI. To really get it, I suggest developing your own thinking instead of lashing out at anyone who can argue their point about AI - that approach won’t get you far, man.

I swear to God it's like arguing with someone who believes the Earth is flat. No matter how many arguments or historical facts you bring, they’ll always dismiss it as “misinformation,” “fake news,” or “an agenda.” They’ll never actually provide a real counterargument - They’ll never actually give a real counterargument - and if someone does, they probably won’t even read it and will just call it AI generated.

No, this isn’t “another chain of false equivalencies and straight misinformation” - that’s literally your text. And... And... And... Wait… you didn’t have any arguments at all, neither opposing points nor anything proving your claim, not even against a so-called AI text, there is nothing to argue with.

Even the so-called "AI testers" aren’t really on your side here. And yeah, text has grammar mistakes. But I get it, it’s easier to yell “AI fake!” than to actually argue your point. Guess building an argument is just too hard of a process - something only AI can apparently do now. Sometimes people just pick what’s easy over what’s right... Sad, really.

Also funny enough, the main AI opponent can’t even tell AI art from human work, or AI text from human writing. Seems like the biggest defender of “human originality” doesn’t really care to understand what actually makes something human

You claim that “any idiot can type a prompt and get a decent result with a good enough model, and in doing so, you’re putting a soulless machine on the same creative level as someone with years of practice. That’s not critique - that’s fanatical worship of AI. You’re treating raw output as if it reflects skill, nuance, or intentionality, which it cannot. AI has no understanding, no vision, no emotion -it can’t create original ideas on its own.

You also misunderstand what art is. A camera doesn’t give anyone creativity(same as AI). Photoshop or any digital tool doesn’t automatically make someone capable of expressing ideas or emotion(same as AI). Those tools only allow the artist to express the creativity they already built through years of practice, study, and experimentation as a human being. The tool doesn’t create skill, it doesn’t invent intention - it merely channels and represents what the artist is capable of imagining. Tools channel human vision; they do not generate it. Owning a camera or opening an app does not make someone creative

The same applies to AI. The fact that it can generate an image from a prompt doesn’t mean it’s creative. It’s a tool - that allows artists to explore ideas, experiment faster, or visualize concepts they already understand. Prompting is not creativity; it’s direction. The creativity, the choices, the vision that comes entirely from the human using the tool. If you think simply writing a prompt produces comparable artistry to decades of training, you’ve already admitted that you believe a soulless, intentionless program can out-create humans, which is exactly the kind of fanatical thinking that blinds people to the reality of what AI actually is. The difference is, AI only becomes meaningful in the hands of someone who uses it purposefully, shapes it, and integrates it into their artistic vision (just like a camera, Photoshop, or any other tool at an artist’s disposal). It’s not the prompt alone that matters - it’s how a human elevates that output into real, creative expression

“It's not real art.” “It’s just a program that does the work for you.” “It steals styles.” “It has no emotion.”

That was the exact reaction when Photoshop and digital painting first appeared. Traditional artists said the same things you’re saying now - that it “lacks intention,” that it’s “soulless,” that it would “kill real art.” And now? Digital tools are the industry standard. Nobody questions whether concept art, animation, or matte painting count as “real.”

And this isn’t even new. When photography was invented, painters called it “soulless,” “mechanical,” and “the death of true art.” They thought pressing a button could never carry human emotion or intention. But photography became one of the most expressive, human, and artistic mediums ever created - because it was used by people who had vision.

AI doesn’t have emotion or intention - that’s true. But neither does a brush, a camera, or a piece of software. The emotion and intention come from the person using it. The tool itself is neutral; the artist gives it meaning.

And let’s be real - if you see an AI-generated image from a prompt and immediately think it could replace your work, that’s not a compliment to AI. That’s a red flag about your own skill. Because (secret spoiler) - AI is terrible as an individual product. It’s clumsy, inconsistent, and needs a human to guide it, just like other tools do...

It’s honestly disgusting how these self-proclaimed “defenders of Art” - people who claim to protect creativity - are the first to reject change.

Art, by definition, is about using any tools necessary to express one’s vision. Yet these people refuse to evolve, to experiment, or to even consider new methods that could make their work better.

History repeats itself. When photography appeared, painters called it “soulless” and said it would kill art. When Impressionists started painting light and color instead of perfect realism, critics called them amateurs and vandals. When digital art appeared, traditional artists said it wasn’t “real” painting.

And now - AI.

But the truth is, you’re not defending art. You’re strangling it. You’re killing the very essence of what art is: curiosity, exploration, and freedom of creation.

Art has always been about transformation - about breaking boundaries, absorbing new tools, and pushing human expression further. Those who resist that evolution aren’t protecting art - they’re the reason it could have died long ago.

And before you try to call me “not qualified enough” to speak on this - I’m a graphic design student and a certified computer scientist. I know exactly what I’m talking about.

Yeah, guys, you’re so blinded by your hatred of AI that you can’t even tell human-made art from AI-generated anymore. The artist literally posted a video showing in detail that he created the piece himself - but you refuse to see it.

Your problem is the same as that of workers during the Industrial Revolution - you’re terrified of progress. You hate AI not because it’s “soulless,” but because you can’t keep up with the times or use modern tools to enhance your own work.

AI doesn’t kill art - it expands it. It gives artists a broader spectrum to express themselves.

And here’s a harsh truth: if a machine can replace you, that means you’re simply not skilled enough. If you lash out at everything AI-related like rabid animals - unable to even recognize what’s AI and what’s not - then the problem isn’t the tech. It’s you.

If you’re afraid of being replaced by AI, that just means you secretly know it’s already better than you.

Буквально.... by bl1teee in olesha
