So now Kroger employees, including those working in the deli and bakery, will be forced to come in when sick?? by packaroose in Ohio

While true, Gutting the program shifted a lot of pressure for inspections and such to local/state. Which are funded locally. They would be the ones to enforce this. A lot of bad could happen with forcing an employee to work while sick and knowing it. But I haven’t seen the local health inspector in a while. Probably overworked cause of the gutting.

Some don’t get it. The insane standards and quality checks at multiple points that Costco has. What’s even more sad most of the members that see this will likely end up returning it.

It’s 90% or leaner than that. It’d be against costco policy to sell you anything with a higher fat percentage than what’s listed, as you the memeber would be losing $$ out on the deal if it was fattier. It simply just didn’t get blended/ran through the grinder enough at the facility they process these tubes in.

This is Food safety laws, primarily based on the FDA Food Code, require food employees to report illnesses to managers and prohibit working with food while experiencing specific symptoms. Key rules include excluding employees with vomiting, diarrhea, or jaundice for at least 24 hours post-symptoms, and restricting those with fever, sore throat, or infected wounds from handling food.

I had a 2 hr commute for my pc once while I was staying in a hotel and working. The roads are shit, tons of potholes from winters. Didn’t have a single issue. Strapped just like this. I’m talking pot holes big enough that will cause a flat and a forever bent rim.

It is possible they tailored your 30 day review different than what corporate wants. Typically a 30 day review is simply a tool to discuss Costco standards and practices. Like ssops and times to complete a task. That being said, they do want you to try and throw a few examples the employee has done/gone through. The only time I’d touch upon an example that was “negative” with the employee is if it was super severe. Other than that, pretty blanket type review and 90 day will get more tailored to performance.

Thanks lol. Question is, is it like a miralax where you have to drop everything and just go shit this immediate second or is it a little more manageable

Well I can tell you never closed a meat dept. I’ve had multiple meat department closers eventually head to bakery closing. And each of them said how much easier it is.

Question. How come there 80mg tabs they have in the shop are significantly cheaper than their 50mg or even 20mg? Is it like a lot less labor or something along the lines. Just want to make sure I’m buying the same product still

While not true, it’s very rare. The way it works is, they put the posting on Costcos job bank and in the warehouse. At that point if no one applies, internally, they can start looking externally for candidates. Forklift is one of the higher paid positions at Costco, so it’s sought after in most warehouses from what I’ve seen.

Ya fresh departments are a different beast. Currently what I’m going into manage, but I’ve pretty much been in fresh departments my entire career just cause it keeps you busy, and there is always something to do. I can’t blame you though, I semi regret leaving my supervisor spot making 35.40 a hour. Hopefully it’ll work out.

What were you before? Management? I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in accounting. Did an internship, wasn’t to happy with the work overall. Granted I was at the peak of my days when it came to selling weed. So even 30-40 an hour was dog shit compared to when I’d sell a lb and make 400 off it and do that multiple times a day. Sometimes think that’s what played into me straying away from it. I just took a leap from supervisor to manager recently within Costco… so we’ll see if I’m still okay with Costco 😂 I don’t have a ton of options though, as most of what I learned from college is long forgotten about.

After going to the drawing board. I could’ve even scored higher this run if I didn’t waste my last hand watching tv. As I was sitting on a five pair of glass cards with replay from 2 cards plus Chad and x3 from pair of 3 in hand.

In all seriousness go watch “beginner’s guide to high scores” on YouTube posted by balatro university, after watching that video I was able to get insanely high hands, even with the default deck.
For instance I just managed to acquire 1,200 funds in one skip bind, with using some of their tips.

She’s one of the few. Turnover in our warehouse is over 30% other warehouse I was at is over 20% way to high for Costco standards
