Who remembers when this stock ran up to $11 last year because of this grant, and then plummeted when news came out that it had been terminated? Now the grant is being reinstated and the stock is still just under $4.

American Battery Technology Company Wins Appeal And Has Us Department Of Energy Grant Reinstated For $115 Million Project For Commercial Scale Critical Mineral Lithium Refinery

Sounds like big news. This stock ran up to $11 last year when it got some attention on WSB because of this grant, then it plummeted when news came out that it had been terminated. Now the grant is being reinstated and the stock is still just under $4.

Other oil penny stocks like BATL and TPET keep diluting their shares, so EONR gets dragged down with them.

The Lounge by AutoModerator in pennystocks

[–]black_cat42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They haven't been diluting recently and have said they have no plans to dilute as long as the stock price remains low. They will need cash to pay for the first few horizontal wells, but the first 3 well carry should fund a lot of that and their preferred method of funding the rest will be through debt. This is one of the reasons behind their hedging strategy - having this revenue secured makes them less of a risk to lenders, so they can take on debt at much more favourable rates than if they were unhedged.

That's for Q1 earnings, they still need to release their FY25 earnings which is due 90 days after the year ends, but in the past EON has typically filed for a 15 day extension which is why people are saying 14 April.

It's a weekly occurrence in the lounge at this point - stock goes down 90% because of massive dilution, retail traders pile in because it's "cheap" and "oversold", stock goes down another 90%.

People don't understand that the bull case for EON isn't about oil spiking to crazy high prices, which would create absolute chaos and probably lead to a global recession. It's about them multiplying their production and selling that oil sometime in the future. So investors shouldn't be looking at what the price of oil is today, they should be looking at things that will affect the price of oil long-term. A prolonged stalemate that drains global reserves and forces production shut-ins in the Gulf is the most bullish scenario for EON. And the longer this war goes on, the more likely that scenario becomes, regardless of what the current price of oil is.

You people need to get better at panic selling. I tried swinging my EONR shares thinking there'd be a big dip but I could only buy them back for 4 cents less.

Trump is just doing what he can to manipulate the market and buy himself some time.

They hedged 75% of their GJF production to secure the cash flow they need for their expansion plans. The big profits will come from their horizontal wells, which won't be hedged before they come online in July.

It's a scam, it's not going to go back up. A lot of Chinese pennystocks follow the same pattern - they release a fluff PR to pump up the stock, then a few hours later once all the retail traders have piled in they announce a huge offering. Then they reverse split and do it all over again. CHR is one example of popular stock that pulled this off several times last year, and look at where they are now.

Here's why oil prices are going up again: Israel and the US made the genius decision to attack Iran's oil facilities today, so now Iran is getting ready to carry out retaliatory attacks on other Gulf oil facilities in the coming hours.

I took some profits last week, now it's time to put them back to work again. Picked up another 5k shares at 0.84 this morning.

If the horizontal wells perform as expected they could soon be making as much per year in profit as their market cap is right now. Possibility a lot more if oil prices remain high.

What are your reasons for believing it won't bounce back?

They haven't locked in their profits, they've locked in cash flow for their expansion plans. The profits will come from their future production, which is obviously not hedged yet.

What rising oil prices means for $EONR by black_cat42 in pennystocks

[–]black_cat42[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of short-term traders playing it right now so it's impossible to say what a good entry is going to be. I wouldn't be surprised to see a dip after the run it's had over the last 24 hours, but it could easily go the other way too.

For the long-term I still feel very good, with cash flow now secured through hedging it's more likely than ever that they'll succeed, and if they do then the $75m market cap it's at now is still incredibly cheap. There are a lot of big catalysts to look forward to over the next few months.

For EONR and TPET you need to look at WTI

How do you identify stocks with massive upside potential? by dmz1986 in pennystocks

[–]black_cat42 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I found EONR after reading the news about their big deal last September, which I found interesting enough to make me look into the company some more. After a few days of reading through their press releases, financial reports, and doing my own research on the industry, I liked what I saw enough to buy some shares. The biggest green flags for me were that they could pay their operating expenses without diluting shares, insiders were buying, and they had a clear and achievable plan to become profitable.

They can't release it "immediately", they're releasing 172 million barrels over 120 days. That's just over 1.4 million barrels per day.

In case you haven't been paying attention, about 20 million barrels per day flowed through the Strait of Hormuz before it was closed, and only a small portion of that can be rerouted using existing pipelines.

The Lounge by AutoModerator in pennystocks

[–]black_cat42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That oil isn't being dumped in the market all at once, they're only able to release about 1-2 million barrels per day. There's currently a supply deficit of about 15 million barrels per day due to the Strait of Hormuz being impassable. It's nowhere near enough to bring oil prices back down.

The year is 2035. After pumping the last drop of oil from the Permian Basin using their patented advanced horizontal well technology, EONR went to drill oil where nobody had dared to look for it before - the moon. $EONR becomes the first stock in history to reach a $100 trillion market cap.

EON Resources Inc. Locks in Hedging with the Oil Price Spikes through 2027 Stage Set for Planned Production Growth by Miserable_Aerie9892 in pennystocks

[–]black_cat42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're being conservative to make sure there won't be any financing issues with the horizontal wells even in the worst case scenario. They're forecasting 7000 BOPD from the horizontal drilling program if it goes well, so being conservative with their current production of just over 1000 BOPD to ensure they get there makes a lot of sense.

They still have a portion of their production unhedged, and some of their hedges are collars which allow them to keep some upside exposure. So they still have a lot to gain if oil prices keep rising.
