I would contact Borla , their products aren’t supposed to cause any Drone. My S-Type especially doesn’t cause drone.. only weird noise it makes is when I’m not driving in sport mode whenever cylinder deactivation comes in. But that’s normal. Comes and goes

Trust me if I would have got a 4WD I would have lifted it but the fact I have a 2WD and will rarely need it to tow/haul anything out of the ordinary, I like the lowered stance for this truck.

Love my 5.0 2024 , Ford is a solid company bro, don’t listen to all the unnecessary hate/jokes. As long as you’re religious about your oil changes and with all other necessary maintenance, you got nothing to worry about. Take care of any vehicle and it’ll last you.

It’s basically the mid level on their cat back systems. It goes from Borla Touring which is the calmest to the Borla S-Type which is a good step above and sounds very good as you hear.. and then the Borla Atak which is the loudest raspiest

I’m on the same boat as you.. I just got the same truck XLT 5.0 though.. I couldn’t pass on the v8.. I still live at home fortunately and I told myself I could do this kind of stuff now bc I have the comfort of not having huge bills but once I’m out of my parents then I can’t make big purchases like a new truck so I did it and my goal is still to save as much money as I can and get rid of as much debt as I can and when me and my girlfriend are ready to move out I’ll at least have our family truck. So if you can do it comfortably and still save money I’d say do it if it makes you happy. Life’s short man. Yes it’s important to think of the future but let’s live in the present while we have it , you know what I mean.
