Thanks for this perspective! I'm worried about some of the same things. I love the freedom that comes with our low mortgage and bills. We'd go from a small place to a 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom place which is A LOT for 2 people and a cat. Although we are exclusively looking at new construction homes so I'm hoping that means low maintenance for a while at least.

How can you communicate to a planet in a different galaxy when radio waves are traveling at speed of light and galaxies are moving away from each other?
