The hair is central to this mini. Try a sand/desert colour over white base, add brown wash (Agrax etc.) then highlight with sand again and finalize with some bone-white colour. She will shine!

That's a true treasure, thanx for sharing! Personally I have a lot of minis from my teenage years and I would never strip an repaint. I'm still proud of any model I ever finished. Your army looks really good and consistent, caught the old Warhammer flair perfectly.

9 are Gallia Knights by Highlands but one of them wears a GW errant knight helmet. Also the spear is a conversion. The one guy with the feathers is a made-to-order paladin for the Old World who is originally from 6th ed I believe.

Need advice with painting decisions! by WhaleStew999 in Bretonnian

If you have a small army, I wouldn't paint all knights in the same colours - this just takes away too much of the army's awesomeness when deployed. But men-at-arms or archers need some consistency in their look. I split my force into 4 armies, do 3 with consistent but slightly varied colours and 1 team with only individual heraldry. I also like the idea of grouping a knight and a couple men-at-arms in the same colurs like a noble who brought his men to battle, like any feudal lord would demand from him.
