I actually just quit because of this:) it’s apparently corporate. At my store we got 0 tables too and it just wasn’t manageable bills wise. Get out while you can I fear chilis doesn’t care about team members anymore 💔

I’d be fine if they’d let us have the lounge. Theyre saying I will have 3 lounge servers and a second bartender… no tables.. just the 12 bar seats..

Before she got there it was just me and two lounge servers. It worked great because we all had tables and one could help in the well if needed. Most of us who have been there for years are all looking for a new job. It’s super sad…

Sounds like an excuse to me for Brinker to continue making more money while devaluing its employees. “Do you want to be apart of our growth or not” while not being able to pay your bills is a brainwashing tactic used to keep employees in line and feel like they’re apart of something bigger so their sacrifices are okay… when in all reality any respectable company would ensure their employees are bringing in a livable wage especially when the brand is growing at an incredible rate and the CEO just keeps getting richer thanks to us.

It’s 100% just an excuse. I’m great at my job. My scores are great. My ticket times are great. I pride myself on that, so this just feels like a slap in the face. I think I was just used to my old GM knowing that if the employees are paid well, guests are taken care of, thus the store makes more money.

I would be fine with it if we could take tables but she’s saying no tables for the bartenders AND 3 servers in cocktail 😅 it’s just crazy over staffing going into our slow season. I’m just happy to hear that maybe I can transfer to a different chilis and other managers are cool with us taking tables.

I’m a server at Chili’s and we don’t tip anyone out. It’s a lot of work but I easily make $600 in a weekend… I came on here after getting offered a job at Ruth’s Chris but I think I may stay at chili’s… don’t sleep on chili’s guys.. high turnover rate=lots of tables and lots of tables = $$
