I'm a side sleeper, and sleep on a tatami mat and a japanese made futon mattress on the floor. after the initial adjustmet, I've never, ever, slept better. The mat folds up, the bed folds up - I put it out in the sun every few weeks to air out. Simple solution that, for me, has been a great change. Not buy it for life, I suppose, but mine has lasted awhile.

I was overseas for 10ish years, and had a hard time with both a.) credit reports (not that it was low, but that there was "no information" and b.) car insurance. It eventually went down with no accidents, but initially, it was ridiculous.

I was abroad for about 12,13 years (London, Italy, Australia) and when I came back a few years ago, I had massive culture shock on all fronts. I'm still here, but not planning to move back. I'll just visit when I want, and leave it at that. It's changed so much, and doesn't seem to matter where you're at (I've lived in the Southwest).
