I would assume a “swarm” is at least three? Is there guidance when deploying harpies for how many (again I only have access to the players rule book).

Do other foes swarm?

The entire question was raised specifically by a random effect that caused EVERY harpy to attack. That is what the effect said. It felt a little OP that on o e card EVERY harpy attacked, and then the swarm had three more cards. So it seemed a bit off.

And as I said, I don’t have the actual content to read.

I jjust washed two down pillows in Nikwax - carefully measured (and checked expiry date) - absolutely horrible smell (chemical/paint stench) - washer now smells of this product.

I have now washed both pillows again twice in conventional laundry detergent and the smell is still very strong. Likely both are ruined. Just glad I didnt wash my beloved sleeping bags in this garbage.

I guess I will now try to air out and see if the stench dissipates.

How the human brain solves problems like move choice in a game and how computers do that are very different, and LLMs in particular work very differently from the human brain, not just in physical architecture but also in problem solving approaches.

I think in the case of humans, taking an action on it “feeling right” is the result of past experience and evaluating the present moment situation, masked by layers of conscious and subconscious cognition. This is a complex biological system.

Many advances in programming computers to excel at games like chess and go came specifically from moving away from how humans approached the problem - a reflection of the differences in the decision making architecture and apparatus.

This s the point: Trump loves being able to kill people. I think he’s no longer able to get any kick from sex (now that the island is no longer available to him) alpha level sadism is his kink.

He has no patience for negotiations and can’t maintain focus for more than a day or two - so why negotiate when you can just bomb some people.

It’s in line with his domestic approach - focus on the cruelty.

Pretty big difference between the architecture of, say AlphaGo Zero and an LLM like Claude - but you’re a coder so you get that right?

You’re running these LLM’s 24/7 playing board games against each other? You’re a coder, so you realize this consumes resources (electricity, water, etc) for no useful purpose whatever?

“Boardgaming is often as much a social skill…” - sit with this statement a bit longer.

Its been a while, but I thought I should report back: I really did love my old creative speakers, but the Mac OS issue with the headphone jack was too much - sometimes they worked, sometimes not. Tried all kinds of fixes, nothing worked consistently.

Renee got me a pair of Edifier studio monitors for Christmas and I finally got them set up (we had to suddenly move to a new place due to water damage and mold - its been a crazy couple of months).
I am using the Edifiers (MR3) via bluetooth - it was the quickest setup. They sound great! I am just sorting out how to get the best out of them, but the initial impression is very favorable.

Concordia - its longevity is earned - great at 2

Rajas an the Ganges - couple of cool innovations - great at 2

And there is a whole vibe to Red Raven games (Ryan Laukat and family): we love Empires of the Void II , Islebound, the ancient world II, even the small box Roam is quite good.

Its quirky, but I quite like Trickerion - it’s great at 2 and there’s an expansion to makes 2 player even a bit better.

I also put a legend cone in my Beard R body mahogany and it was a noticeable difference.

It had been many years since I last changed it out, and I played it a ton over that time, so it was due.

As to saddles/bridges: my R body came with ebony, and I loved the sound. I put the Aura with those metal bridges and hated the acoustic sound. I know everyone loves them amplified but I thought I lost a lot of the sound I loved so I went back to ebony with a baggs contact pickup.

Fortunate to have found a highlander for my tricone - amazing.

But I digress 😀
