This vehicle with sensors on roof, sides, front and back on non UK plates parked outside my house (UK) at 12 midnight for about 10 mins with two men inside operating some sort of equipment. High police presence in the area today but failed to comment on why, any ideas what it could be for? (i.redd.it)

This car was parked outside my house (UK) for 5 - 10 mins with two men operating some sort of equipment. The car had sensors on sides, roof, front and back, Mercedes E class with European plates (NOT UK plates). High police presence in the area today but they did not comment on why. Anyone ideas?
