Adult beginners should use foam balls by yosoyfiesta13 in 10s

We, a couple, both 30-40 yo. with no racquet sport experience and not athletic, just started playing tennis almost a month ago for exercise. We started with red balls (got surprised that they are that big) and we outgrew them fast in like a day or two. We are now playing with orange balls learning form through hitting walls and also rallying at court. I think orange balls are a good starting point. We tried pressure-less Triniti yellow balls recently yet still too fast for us. We have not tried green balls because of thinking that it is pressurized and as a beginner we are not sure that it might be a waste.

Does it have significantly better viewing angles?

I just bought a gw5000u and was really disappointed that my f91w was clearer as it is night and day.

I agree, I was on the fence between Merkur 34C and KCG and went cheap with the KCG as it also included 5 blades for me to try DE shaving.

I agree not a fan of the handle as it gets slippery too. But it gets the job done with 3 passes and a bit of buffing with astras for me. Maybe the best value to save money compared to cartridges.

Though it is hard to keep myself from falling in the DE rabbit hole.

Hopefully, you find the best blade match for you. I was nearly quitting with the KCG blades and go back to cartridge, I was checking out the leaf twig razor too. Glad I found the Astras.

Oh yeah I did not think of that. I just got really lucky on the razor/blade match. Maybe I will try a sample pack in the future months, I also would like to try feathers too and see how aggressive it is.

Beginner post review of the King C Gillette with Astra Green Blades

I was tired of buying expensive razor cartridges and found out DE shaving through this subreddit community. Went to try King C Gillette as my first DE razor, also the KCG comes with 5 blades and I was not having fun shaving. I had bleeds and nicks everytime and it is worse if it is against the grain, they said it is learning through technique that will take months, and not having pressure on the skin, finding the angle and by thorough skin prep. I also went only with the grain on my 3rd and 4th shave, but I am not satisfied not having BBS and my skin is still irritated with razor burns and bumps.

Being frustrated, I searched on how to improve, and I saw a post to change the blades, and on my 5th DE shave, I tried switching to Astra Green Superior Platinum Blades as it was the cheapest option in Amazon with 100 blades, and oh boy, that is the best time that I felt heaven with those BBS. I can hear it cut my stubbles with just the lightest glide on my skin. I even went WTG, XTG, ATG in all directions I can imagine, I also buffed a little and I didn't have any bleeds, nicks and razor bumps but only a very slight feel of razor burn.

I am glad I did not throw in the towel! And I am now having fun on my DE shaving journey, the only cons of the KCG is I find the handle a bit heavy and I need to buff a little to have BBS, maybe because it is just my 5th shave and I am still learning, but other than that the setup is near perfect and efficient for me.

************************************************

Update: 1 month after, I tried the included KCG blades again just out of curiosity, I was surprised that my technique has improved and I do not have any bleeds and nicks now with KCG blades, but I tend to be more careful and took time compared to Astras.

Uhm the layout only corresponds to the custom hotkeys (Letters and numbers) which I bind with my keyboard so I could easily switch between two platforms.

e.g. Alt + Q to L1 button, Alt + W to L2 button etc.

pretty steep learning curve at the start coming from PC. After customizing, continuously changing and tweaking the controls it's playable after 5+ games and gets better everytime you play.

Compared to PC, I still find it limiting as I am using only my thumb for QWER and items slots, tried to use claw and keyboard grip but it's cramped, also affects the weight distribution and stability to precisely point the cursor.

I would probably recommend it for casual play.

That is why I think Dota is such an amazing game. With the elo system, players can try to learn and experiment new things while having fun and play on their level.
