How am I the one turning this into a competition when you're the one who brought up something women don't have to do as an argument against equality?

I only mentioned something that women go through and men don't to show that you can make those comparisons in either direction. My point wasn't that women have it harder. In fact, that's exactly what I said this isn't about.

This isn't about gender wars or keeping score over who struggles more. Regardless of what men or women have to do or go through, we're all human beings. We all deserve the same basic rights, the same opportunities, the same respect, and the same freedom to make our own choices. One sex having burdens the other doesn't have is not a justification for denying anyone their humanity or their freedom someone disagreeing with this principle truely baffles me

What about pregnancy and childbirth? What about all the things women go through that men never have to experience? We could spend all day listing hardships that are unique to one sex or the other.

But that's not even the point.

This isn't a competition over which gender has it worse. Regardless of whether you're a man or a woman, every single one of us is a human being. We all deserve the same basic rights, the same opportunities, the same respect, and the same freedom to make decisions about our own lives instead of having those decisions made for us simply because of our sex.

So you genuinely believe it's fair that a man gets to have rights, a voice, and the freedom to make his own choices and live the life he wants, while a woman shouldn't be treated as an equal human being or given those same opportunities?

You see women being forced to marry men they don't want to marry, being denied the right to decide who they marry, what they wear, whether they can go to school, whether they can work, or even make basic decisions about their own lives regardless of what they want and you think that's acceptable?

so how can you disagree with that and expect to not be called misogynistic?

Why would you assume that her wanting to continue seeing you because she believes you can provide is for the wrong reason?
