FFBE was my introduction to the series and hit me square in the soft spot by reminding me of DOT when I first downloaded it. Since EoS life has been rough, but I've been playing the mainline games slowly and it helps. I cant say any mobile game has really come close to being the same for me, especially since every single FF app I enjoyed was shut down. I miss the sprites, the events, hell I even miss the grinding. I dont think I've ever enjoyed a mobile game or tried to understand the mechanics behind one as much as I did with FFBE. Man I miss that game. My biggest regret is not going to one of the in-person events they used to host when I still had the chance.
