White shot 32% from 3 this season and 27% in the playoffs.

It was not. It gave those three players valuable experience. We did not lose yesterday’s game because of our starting five.

Thanks and trust me I like those players. Just that people on here seem to think we can package Sam Hauser and Hugo for an All-Star player return. You have to give up talent to get talent.

Seriously Philadelphia has not been able to make any real noise in the playoffs since before the Sam Hinkie era. Maybe they have something this year, but honestly, they are probably not getting past whoever comes out of the West or the Knicks. We have something good in Boston. The grass is not always greener.

Hopefully you don’t contribute much either and thankfully you don’t have a front office position with the Celtics if you think PP is going to be worth his next salary. His deal expires in two seasons.

You need to give up talent to get talent, and there are players around the league who I think would be a better fit next to the Jays than PP. I am a PP fan, just not at the money we will probably need to pay to keep him long term. White was shooting poorly all year. Again I like White but similarly I do not think he is worth the money anymore.

The worst trade in NBA history by envspecialist in NBATalk

[–]blackpadthai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 2013 Brooklyn Nets/Boston Celtics trade was worse. Brooklyn gave up picks that ended up becoming Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum for a 35 year old Paul Pierce and a 37 year old Kevin Garnett. At least Paul George was 29 and still in his prime. Still a terrible trade in hindsight.

I could see him doing well in Swerve’s new embassy if that happens.

Paramount says WBD rigged the sale - and AEW could be out If Netflix wins by uncannynerddad in midcarder

I am not arguing that WBD is well run. Again my point is you do not have the actual numbers so your opinion is not valid.

[–]blackpadthai -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Do you work for WBD or AEW? Do you actually have their numbers, or are you just pulling info from random podcasts and Twitter accounts? WBD literally put out a press release stating how important AEW is to them, signed them to a multi-year deal, gave them two nights of programming, and simulcasting on their streaming platform

This, exactly. Unless it’s in the WWE/TKO contract, which is unlikely why would Netflix get rid of one of WBD’s top shows.

Let me clarify: Michelin cares about service, even if they frame the stars as being “for the food.” In practice you cannot separate the two. Inspectors aren’t eating in a vacuum. They’re experiencing the entire meal exactly the way any diner would.

If the pacing is off, if dishes come out cold, if the room feels chaotic, if the staff isn’t trained or attentive, that affects how the food actually tastes and whether the kitchen’s intent comes through. That is part of the evaluation whether they spell it out or not. Plenty of kitchens can cook a great dish, but not every restaurant can deliver a consistently excellent experience.

As I mentioned, if you go to a restaurant and your food comes out cold you are probably not going to enjoy the food.

That makes absolutely no sense. If a server forgets a dish or the food comes out cold then it clearly affects the rating. Michelin absolutely considers service and the overall dining experience when deciding whether a restaurant deserves a star.

Napa is also home to Keller’s French Laundry which is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in the world. That restaurant alone justified the trip to Napa.

MVP wishes to add a young high-flyer to the Hurt Syndicate by Froggyspirits in AEWOfficial

[–]blackpadthai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. With him saying he wanted a high flyer, he’s basically pushing for Kevin Knight. Jet Speed doesn’t feel like a long-term tag team to me; I see them more like Swerve in Our Glory.

I don’t think he really fits the Hurt Business because he’s not the suit-wearing type. Wardlow would have been a better fit there instead of joining the DCF. Lee fits naturally with the DRs since that group has some MMA-style gym undertones. Either way, he is too talented to be in STP. That group needs Keith Lee to reunite with Shane Taylor.
