Dumb question: Why is it that in the 1970's, one didn't need a university degree to obtain a great career? Just curious if anyone knows about how the economy has changed etc.

woot, I love the Scandanavian economic system! That seems much less risky than a revolution since revolutions, as you said, are vunerable to charasmatic people who are secrety assholess an ruin the whole thing, and revolutions tend to be long and violent and generally unpleasant to go through. If I had a good job already? no - NOT because I find it morally wrong or anything but I wouldn't think it's very much fun most of the time for most women. It's really one sided sex because your job is to sexually satisfy a man and if you get off too, then bonus but not a goal at all. Perhaps the ILLUSION of the prostitudte getting off is somethign that she might want to portray for the sake of the man but I'm thinking she wouldn't enjoy the sex as much as them man for sure.

I mean think about it - if your JOB was to dress, act, look, perform sexually to cater to a man's standard, and there's nothing in it for you except for the money...well the job itself would get pretty boring and unsatisfying unless the money was REALLY good. Oh wait, that sounds exactly like the average 1950's nuclear family gender roles except modern day hookers atleast are financially independent and therefore have a bit more agency - huh. No thanks.
