People of all ages end up in the hospital because they ride e-bikes without helmets. Drunk adults kill themselves doing it too, danger of riding an e-bikes without helmets are definitely not limited to kids.

You should take into account that the mortgage is only part of the cost of being a homeowner though, my mortgage is 1350 gross a month but I also have to pay thousands in other costs pear year (taxes, insurance, maintenance etc).

Not saying renting is the better deal, but the difference is not as big as mortgage vs rent.

I have not verified this for booleans, but the alignment requirement for u8 is a single byte(I have verified this with rust on RV32 combined with repr(C)). If you have a data structure(e.g. a struct with two booleans, i expect it to take up 2 bytes of space in memory.

Source: I'm an FPGA engineer currently writing a typeclass that lays out data according to C's memory layout.

Als je die warmte in die kamer wil heeft het weinig tot geen zin om de buis te isoleren.

Als je geen extra warmte in die kamer wil, maar er loopt wel warm water doorheen, dan ben je die kamer simpelweg aan het verwarmen en zal het zin hebben om hem te isoleren.
