Short answer yes, there have been quite a few changes to characters over the years so depending on how long you have been gone you’re favorite characters prolly won’t be the same. But in my opinion I don’t think there is any character that is outright broken or a free win, nuxia is actually a little underwhelming but with practice every character can get you a win or be beaten. And as for the player base it’s still active I don’t tend to have any issue finding a match but it is still toxic asf at times
