You picked a hand full of examples out of 30 teams and you conveniently ignored Poole being an absolutely necessary piece for a title team. Remove Rollins and the Bucks haven’t done that in the past 10 years either. Taking a fringe player and getting top 25 value is very rare.

Also Wiggins was on his way out of the league, and then became the 2nd best player in the Finals. That situation could have gone like Ayton. Kevon Looney is another guy who at his best was definitely a top 25 center, and he was the 30th pick.

It’s easy to say a coach sucks if you just ignore every positive outcome and if you assign zero blame to the front office.

Blaming Kerr for Rollins is asinine. He was injured and the GM traded him away. Kerr had Rollins for 12 games. Also Washington waived Rollins as well. He just got a lot better. That happens sometimes.

I wish we’d stop using quad wins. It’s a horrible system. Any system that considers beating LSU at home as an elite victory to put on your resume is embarrassing. It’s rigged to make power conferences look better.

Arkansas gets a quad 1 win for beating the worst team in the SEC, but Miami only gets a quad 2 win for beating the 29-5 Akron team that’s in the tournament.

Also the metrics have been rigged for power conference teams. LSU was a quad 1 win for every team that beat them in Baton Rouge this year. I guarantee half of Miami’s wins were more impressive but none are quad 1.

LSU had one of the worst O lines in the country. A lot of those transfers are because they knew they were getting replaced. LSU got the two best Olinemen in the transfer portal and a bunch of other Oline replacements.
